A Vietnam discovery tour that covers all the main highlights of this amazing country with a special focus on the mountainous area of Sa Pa. As well as exploring the town and surrounding areas of SaPa, visiting local villages and markets where the colourful ladies from the Ethnic minority tribes will happily sell you their craft produce. You will also discover the vibrant town of Hanoi, the enchanting Ha Long Bay area with the enchanting scenery, the bustling city of HCM in the south finishing your tour in the calmer, quieter area of the Mekong Delta exploring how locals live and thrive on, in or by the mighty Mekong River.

The short tour offers a wide range of options and variety of types of places to visit. Starting the tour in HCM City, you can enjoy the city tour, a journey through older and more recent history. This is the commerical capital of Vietnam with many shops to explore as well as a rich choice of restaurants from street food to expensive restaurants. The Mekong Delta is a much less afluent area where locals make their livings primarily in and around the Mekong River. You'll travel by small local boat and by road and bicycle to explore the region at the slower pace that is lived here. Slowing the pace even further, your tour finishes on the lovely Phu Quoc Island, an Island of sea, sun and beaches. This is the place to come to when you want some indulgence and time to kick back and relax. If you choose to do more than that, you can go walking along the long beach, hire a bicycle or motor bike and explore the island or go on a boat trip for snokelling or diving.

You can visit the main cultural sites of Ha Noi including the magnificent area of Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. Travelling to Sa Pa offers the opportunity for some scenic trekking (to the degree that matches your fitness level). Back on level ground, you are off to Ninh Binh Province and the lovely village and surrounding area of Tam Coc. Here you can visit caves and travel on small rowing boats propelled by local ladies. And onto the jewel in the crown, Ha Long Bay where you have an overnight cruise, go kayaking, caving, swimming or simply relaxaing.

Focusing on the coastline, this tour creates an unfolding of places and experiences primarily based on and around the beaches and the South China Sea. Landing in Ha Noi offers the opportunity to do a city tour of the capital of Vietnam before heading out to the coastline for a cruise on Ha Long Bay. Large, bustling with wide glorious beaches set in a beautiful Bay, Nha Trang offers everything that one would want in a busy sea side resort including the best snorkelling and diving opportunities in Vietnam. A couple of hours drive south takes you to the beaches of Mui Ne where you can explore the extensive Red and White Dunes. This is the best area for surf and actually hosts many major competitions for surfing and for wind surfing. The tour finishes in the hustling bustling city of HCM previously known as Saigon. This is the commercial capital of the country with many opportunities for shopping, visiting a wide range of restaurants and cafes as well as enjoying a city tour taking you through different ages and stages of history of this area.

As well as spending time in the two major cities of Ha Noi and HCM City (Saigon), you will also have the opportunity of visiting the smaller towns of Hue and Hoi An where you can learn about the historical links of these charming towns. Hoi An was once a significant port on the Silk Trade route linking East with West. Hue on the other hand was the home for generations of the emperors of Vietnam. You also get to experience the varied energies and beauty of 4 more rural settings. Mai Chau in the Northern Highlands offers opportunities for trekking and meeting people from some of the Ethnic minority groups living in the country. Ninh BInh and especially the lovely village of Tam Coc shares its natural beauty of Limestone Karsts that you will see in the fields and rivers alike. Take a boat ride down the river on a rowing boat propelled by local ladies and visit the caves. Ha Long Bay gives that time on a boat cruising around a glorious Bay which we all love so much. You can choose from kayaking, swimming, caving or simply relaxing. The Central Highlands are quite different from the Northern ones, no less beautiful and far less visited. And finally you spend a day on the waters of the Mekong Delta exploring how the locals live their lives on and by this magnificent waterway.
